Hi, I’m Carlos, a Golf Professional in both teaching and competition for over 10 years.
Since I am still actively involved in high-level competition I understand perfectly the problems that players have on the golf course, and through a process of technical, strategic and mental support I can help you improve your results.
I believe that like every pro I am passionate about competition, feeling that adrenaline on the 1 tee before hitting the first shot, tempering the nerves for those important subway putts and fighting to win every week. But I assure you that my passion is even greater for teaching. There is nothing more beautiful in this life than having pupils who trust you, training them day by day and making them better players. For me this is priceless.
As for my past, and so that you know me better, I have been playing golf practically since I was born, as my father worked as a Green Keeper in Torrequebrada, one of the oldest and best clubs on the Costa del Sol.
I learned to walk and to give my first strokes with Miguel Angel Jimenez and his brother Juan, and this motivated me a lot to continue practicing. At the age of 9 we moved to Murcia, and it was there where I developed my game to the maximum, participating every year in the best tournaments at national level and being part of the absolute team. When I turned 18 we moved again, this time to Madrid to study the university career. When I was 23 I wanted to devote myself completely to golf and I obtained the title of Golf Sport Technician in the Royal Spanish Golf Federation to be able to devote myself to teaching while continuing to compete. During all these years I have competed as a professional in many circuits, both locally (Circuito de Madrid), nationally (PGA Spain, Peugeot Tour, Gambito Tour, …) and internationally (Alps Tour). In all of them I have achieved remarkable results, with victories in the Madrid circuit and Top10 in the rest of the circuits.
During this period in which I have been competing and training players I have not stopped training in teaching, doing many courses and seminars through the PGA of Spain and the Royal Spanish Golf Federation to get to offer my students the best knowledge to get the best results.
Currently, and because of all the above, I have specialized in top level players, although I still love to introduce people to this sport. So whatever your level, I’m sure I can help you achieve your goals.
